25 | On 09/06/2024, at 1:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Oscar Picazo conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. The purpose of this inspection is to ensure that the cited deficiency cited during the annual random inspection on 09/04/2024 was corrected. LPA met with Licensee and was led to the area in question. Also present during the visit was one (1) cleared assistant and there were 5 day care children in care.
On 09/04/24, licensee submitted pictures of the corrected deficiency via email. LPA observed pictures showing the missing portion of the fence surrounding the in ground swimming pool was reinstalled. The deficiency cited on 09/04/24 has been corrected.
The following deficiencies have been corrected as follows:
- Licensee reinstalled the 6 FT portion of the 5 ft fence that was removed about a month ago. The fence has a gate door that swings away from the pool and is self closing and self latching.
LPA confirmed there are no major gaps or breaks between the fence and walls; nor on the fence itself and that the door swings freely without catching, as well as being self closing and self latching.
LPA viewed the files of those children whose parents have come to the Day Care and confirmed receipt of the recent LIC 809 Inspection report with the deficiency by signing the LIC 9224 form.
A copy of the report and Appeal Rights were provided to the licensee. Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to the licensee and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Dulce Rodriguez. |
