On July 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Dana Stevens and David Miller conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and met with the Licensee, Kristina Pintor. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. Licensee's spouse/assistant and minor child were also present in the facility however no daycare children were present during this inspection due to a planned event. This facility is a single story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Licensee accompanied LPA inside and out of the facility during this inspection. The following areas used for child care are: Living room, kitchen, dining area, hall bathroom and backyard. Off limits areas are all bedrooms master bath and garage and are inaccessible through use of safety latches.

The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector met requirements. All hazardous items were inaccessible to children. The storage area for poisons is locked. The licensee has toys, play equipment and materials available. The home has a fenced backyard available for outdoor activities. There is an above ground pool that is made inaccessible to children by fencing as required by regulation. Licensee stated there are no weapons in the home. A review of staff records on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse clearances or exemptions. Licensee’s First Aid and CPR certifications expire on July 2023. Licensee and assistant have required immunization. Licensee and spouse/assistant completed Mandated Reporter Training June 2021. Facility roster is maintained and was reviewed. The last fire and disaster drills were conducted and documented in April 2021.
