25 | On 07/13/2022 at 1:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Castellon conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection with applicant Ayako Kusano. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home is in compliance with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. This single story, three bedroom, two bathroom home was toured and inspected to ensure the environment is safe for the care and supervision of children.
The applicant provided proof of control of property for review by the Department. The applicant will use the following areas for child care: entire home except for the three bedrooms. A fully fenced backyard will be used for outdoor play. Applicant understands that Off-limits areas include: bedrooms and garage. Inaccessible areas will be made inaccessible to daycare children through the use of door locks, safety latches, gates, and fencing. There are no bodies of water located on the premises. A regulation size fire extinguisher is maintained in the home. Smoke, and carbon monoxide detectors meet requirements and are operational. All poisons, cleaners, and hazardous items in the home are inaccessible to children through latches, locks, and/or placed up on high surfaces. Per the licensee, there are no weapons or fire arms in the home.
Children’s toys and play equipment are available. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications expire on 07/2023. Applicants have provided proof of all required vaccinations.
Per applicants, operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Advised applicants no changes should be made to the home without prior notice and/or approval from Licensing.
