25 | On 4/7/2023 at 1:10 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Castellon conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection with applicant Viviana Guerrero. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home is in compliance with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home was toured and inspected to ensure the environment is safe for the care and supervision of children.
The applicant is purchasing the home and has provided proof of control of property for review by the Department. The applicant will use the following areas for child care: entire first floor except for the bedroom. The second floor is off limits for daycare purposes. The staircase is properly barricaded at the base. A fully fenced backyard will be used for daycare purposes. Off-limit areas are made inaccessible to daycare children through the use of door locks, knob covers, safety latches, gates, and fencing. There are no bodies of water located on the premises. Smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and carbon monoxide detector meet requirements and are operational. All poisons, cleaners, and hazardous items in the home are inaccessible to children through latches, locks, and/or placed up on high surfaces.
Children’s toys and play equipment are available. Applicants states that there are no firearms maintained in the home. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications are valid through 10/24.
Per applicants, operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. LPA Advised applicants no changes should be made to the home without prior notice and/or approval from Licensing office. |
