25 | On 5/17/2023 at 2:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Castellon and conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection with applicant Nancy Beltran Iriarte. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home is in compliance with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, two story home was toured and inspected to ensure the environment is safe for the care and supervision of children.
The applicanst provided proof of control of property for review by the Department. The applicant will use the following areas for child care: first floor tv room, dining area, and hallway bathroom. The second floor will not be used for daycare purposes. The staircase is properly barricaded at the base. A fully fenced backyard will be used for daycare purposes. Off-limit areas are made inaccessible to daycare children through the use of door locks, knob covers, safety latches, gates, and fencing. There are no bodies of water located on the premises. Smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and carbon monoxide detector meet requirements and are operational. All poisons, cleaners, and hazardous items in the home are inaccessible to children through latches, locks, and/or placed up on high surfaces.
Children’s toys and play equipment are available. Applicants states that there are no firearms maintained in the home. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications are valid. Mandated reporter training has been completed.
Per applicants, operating hours are Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. LPA Advised applicants no changes should be made to the home without prior notice and/or approval from Licensing office. |
