The Applicant acknowledges that car seats shall only be used for transportation purposes and shall not be used for sleeping. The Applicant acknowledges children shall never be left unattended in the daycare vehicle. The Applicant states they shall ensure the daycare vehicle’s safety for children by adhering to the vehicle maintenance schedule and promptly fixing any vehicular issues.
Applicant has completed the preventative health and lead poisoning prevention courses. The Mandated Reporter training was completed on 06/28/2023. Applicant acknowledges that they will need to retake the Mandated Reporter training and obtain its training completion certificate once every two (2) years. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications expire in May 2025. The applicant acknowledges that they will need to repeat the pediatric CPR and First Aide certifications and obtain its training card before May 2025. Immunization records per SB792 were reviewed and comply. Applicant acknowledges that they will need retain in the facility files written verification of receipt of the yearly influenza vaccination or yearly written statement declining to receive the yearly influenza vaccination.
Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. The Applicant was advised that any new/additional adults must be cleared prior to working or residing in home. Any minor upon their 18th birthday must be fingerprinted within 30 days.
During the exit interview, the Applicant, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. On this date, 07/18/2023, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility address. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ. |
