On this date, 05/20/2024, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.
Applicant was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org site, a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platforms. To receive important licensed related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community-care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication. LPA discussed and provided Licensee with the following: childcare advocates email address: childcareadvocatesprogram@dss.ca.gov. In addition, for general questions or questions regarding licensing requirements contact the Child Care Licensing Duty Line at (619) 767-2248.
The maximum capacity for a small family childcare home: 4 infants only (infants mean any children under 24 months); or 6 children with no more than 3 infants; or (with landlord consent) 8 children with no more than 2 infants, 1 child in kindergarten or elementary school and 1 child at least age 6 including children under age 10 who live in the licensee's home. The following corrections are needed prior to the issuance of the license:
1. There are three dogs during the inspection, but on 05/21/2024 two of the dogs will be removed from the home to create a future fire clearance area. Shadow the small white dog will be the only dog on premises.
2. Door Knob that is locked from outside for Garage.
3. Remove or Repair Trampoline.
4. Tie down white tarps in front yard to make fence holes inaccessible to young children.
5. Update and email Emergency and Disaster Form section 4 with new temporary relocation sites.
6. Area "off limits" in front yard left side of the home barricade/ make inaccessible to children in care.
An exit interview conducted, and report was reviewed with the applicant, Johnson Semexant. Once the proof is received by the licensing agency, a Small Family Child Care Home License for 8 may be issued upon a final file review.
