25 | On July 9th 2024, at 1:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPAS) Angela Nguyen and Vicky Williamson conducted an announced pre licensing inspection with applicant, Stephane Senat for the purpose of a change of location. Applicant husband, Lisso Telemarque was present for the inspection. Applicant is applying for a large license for up to 14 children. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted a tour into the facility by the Applicant. Purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home is in compliance with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. This one story, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home was toured and inspected. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. -10 p.m.
On June 14, 2024 a fire clearance was granted for a large license (14 children). Applicant will use the following areas for child care: Bedroom #4 and bathroom #2, kitchen and living room and backyard. Off limits areas include: Bedroom #1 and attached bathroom #1, Bedroom #2, Bedroom #3, kitchen, garage and backyard beyond the fenced area. They are made inaccessible to day care children through the use of doorknob covers on the exterior of each door. Applicant will utilize the fenced backyard for outdoor activities. The gas fireplace is not operational and has a glass covering. LPA did not observe any bodies of water during time of inspection. The fire extinguisher is rated 2A-10B:C and is located on the kitchen wall. The home has fire alarm approved by the fire department on the interior and exterior of the home. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors meet requirements and are operational. Applicant states poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, and medicines are inaccessible to children in care and are located in a cupboard latches secured out of reach of children. Children’s toys and play equipment are available. The applicant has a working telephone/cell phone. Applicant indicated there are no firearms or other weapons in the home. |
