25 | On July 23, 2026 at 9:15AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hector Canton conducted an unannounced annual inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with, School Assistant Principal Kristina Alger and toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the center.
During today’s inspection, LPA observed a total of 9 children in care with 2 staff present. Census by room was as follows:
• Room P1 (Sharks and Tigers): 9 children with 2 Fully Qualified Teachers
The facility was operating within proper ratios and capacity. The facility is currently in their summer program and operates Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.
LPA toured all classrooms. Furniture, toys, books, and materials were observed to be safe, age-appropriate, and in good repair. Rooms had adequate heating, lighting, ventilation, and comfortable temperature. Drinking water was readily accessible to children throughout. All hazardous items and cleaning supplies were stored inaccessible to children. Carbon monoxide detector was tested and operational.
Bathrooms and handwashing stations were inspected and found to be clean, sanitary, and in good working condition. All fixtures, including toilets, sinks, and ventilation, were functioning properly, and supplies such as soap and paper towels were adequately stocked.
Food service was reviewed. The facility provides snacks and lunch for children upon request during the regular school year, and children bring their lunch for the summer program. Solid waste containers had tight-fitting lids.
