32 | It was alleged that Child sustained injuries due to lack of supervision. Based on Interviews with staff, parents and children, as well as a review of incident documentation, the allegation was not corroborated. No reports or observations suggested injuries resulting from inadequate supervision. Minor peer-to-peer incidents were described as typical for the age group, with no pattern indicating neglect or unsafe practices. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated.
It was alleged that staff do not serve quality food to meet the needs of the children. Interviews with staff, parents, children and observations conducted during the course of the investigation did not support this allegation. Children reported enjoying a variety of meals, and LPA observed normal meal participation, including requests for additional servings. Staff reported that children’s food preferences vary, but no concerns were identified regarding food quality or adequacy. The review of menus showed meals consistent with program requirements. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred, therefore the above allegations are found to be Unsubstantiated.
