25 | On 06/23/2025, at 12:30PM, Licensing Program Analyst(LPA), Hanna Lucas, evaluated the facility for a requested room change. This request was received on 06/06/2025, and a Fire Clearance was received on 06/17/2025. During the visit, an annual inspection was conducted as well. LPA met with the Director, Cynthia Sanchez , and the Association Program Specialist, Jennifer Hardy, and toured the facility. There were zero children in care, as the facility is currently on summer break.
The rooms were clean and in a comfortable temperature during the visit. Adequate ventilation and heating are available. All required forms were posted. The furniture, books, games, and toys are safe, and age appropriate. There is a variety of activities provided throughout the day. The playground area is fully fenced and children who are younger than 5 years old do not use the play structure that is intended for 5 years and older. On the playground there is sufficient cushioning and adequate shade. Drinking water is available at all times, as staff ensures that each child has their own personal water bottle, that can be refilled at the inside and outside water foundation. Children are evaluated upon entry and monitored throughout the day for signs of illness. The isolation area for ill children awaiting pick up is near the Director’s desk.
The facility provides morning snack to children in care. The children’s food is labeled and stored in the classroom’s fridge, which is clean and orderly. There is no expired or contaminated food present. The food has been stored separately from any chemicals or cleaning products. The menu is posted, changes are recorded, and the menus are stored for 30 days. Hand washing and toileting areas are in a safe, sanitary, and operating condition.
