25 | On 06/09/2026 at 10:15 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer Irving conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with Nayeli Avila, Lead Teacher, and Victoria Baay, Principal. There were 7 children present with 2 teachers in 1 classroom. The facility was operating within ratio and capacity.
LPA toured the facility inside and outside. The classroom was observed to be clean, orderly, and at a comfortable temperature during the visit. Adequate ventilation and heating were available. The furniture, books, games, and toys were observed to be safe, age-appropriate, and in good repair. There were a variety of activities available to children throughout the day.
LPA observed the required postings. The facility license, Personal Rights form (LIC 995), and Parent Rights form (LIC 613A) were posted. However, the facility was missing required postings. LPA informed the staff that all required postings must be posted and readily available for review.
LPA observed that the trash cans did not have tight-fitting lids. LPA Jennifer Irving informed the staff that trash cans must have tight-fitting lids.
The kitchen was observed to be clean and sanitary. Food was stored in covered containers at 45 degrees or less, and there was no expired or contaminated food observed. Staff preparing food were observed using proper personal hygiene and food service practices. The food available met nutritional requirements and appeared to be of good quality and proper quantity. The lunch/snack menu was posted, changes were recorded, and menus were stored for at least 30 days. Food was stored separately from any chemicals or cleaning products. Drinking water was readily available.
