25 | On 12/27/21 at 9:50am, Licensing Program analyst (LPA), Martha Malane conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection to follow up on a self-reported incident. Upon arrival, LPA met with Assistant Director, Rebecca Godina and Director Suzie Wydra and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. There were no children in care as the facility is closed for Christmas break.
The facility reported an incident which occurred on 11/12/2021 stating a small fire started in a light fixture in Room 3. San Diego Fire Authority conducted an inspection 12/21/21 and approved Room 3 for use by children. LPA inspected the room during today’s inspection and found the room to be clean and complete with equipment for children. The light fixture where the fire started was removed and new ceiling tiles were installed. The other lights in Room 3 were in working order at the time of this inspection. Assistant Director, Rebecca Godina stated the facility plans on replacing light fixtures throughout the preschool.
No deficiencies issued during today's inspection.
LPA conducted an exit interview with Assistant Director, Rebecca Godina and Director, Suzie Wydra. LPA discussed and provided the following: LIC809, LIC9213-Notice of Site Visit, and Appeal Rights. The Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's date. |
