32 | Site Supervisors, two (2) staff members and two (2) parents stated, they have witnessed commingling occurring at the beginning of the day on a few occasions. One (1) staff member stated her classroom had been out of ratio prior to April 2022 a few times. Other staff and parents stated they have not observed commingling, nor classrooms being out of ratio. The Site Supervisors have implemented a system, centrally located, that is visible for all staff to view and update as children are received and depart. Assistants are utilized in different classes and rotate in order to maintain appropriate ratios.
Due to conflicting information obtained throughout the course of the investigation, LPA was unable to determine whether or not the facility complied with Title 5 staffing ratios at all times. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor, Yanira Molina. A copy of this report, along with Appeal Rights (LIC9058 01/16), were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. LPA observed that the notice of site visit was posted during the inspection. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
