On 06/23/2025 at 9:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adriana Macias conducted an unannounced inspection for the purpose of delivering findings on a complaint received on 04/15/2025, with above allegations. Upon arrival, LPA identified herself, showed badge and was greeted by Director Samantha Aguirre. LPA discussed purpose of inspection with Director and toured the facility. A total of 39 children and 13 staff were observed with appropriate capacity and ratios. All staff have been fingerprinted and associated to the facility.
During today’s inspection, Sleep Logs and Individual Infant Sleeping Plans where reviewed and were found to be complete. On Infant 1 Classroom, 3 out of 9 children were sleeping on cribs, with proper lighting and temperature and cribs free of blankets, bibs, or loose items. Based on LPA observations staff and parent interviews, the information obtained did not prove or disprove the allegations. While there was no conclusive supportive evidence discovered during the investigation, some statements were contradictory and the allegations may have occurred on one or more occasions, unobserved by parents, staff or LPA. Therefore, the allegations are found to be Unsubstantiated. A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred.
