13 | On 10/17/24, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Saraliz Velando and Stephanie Mutialu conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings for complaint received on 7/30/24. The LPAs met with the Director, Cristy Novoa and toured the facility. There were 44 preschool children present and 9 staff at the facility.
LPA Velando obtained information from observation, file reviews, parent interviews, and staff interviews and it was undetermined that the facility is allowing children to use a common towel for hand drying and that meals are not meeting the minimum food group requirements. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is no corroborating evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred. The preponderance of the evidence has not been met and therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
The exit interview was conducted with the Director, Cristy Novoa. Appeal Rights and a copy of the licensing report was provided. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
