32 | The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. The chain-link fencing is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space was previously measured to be 8762.15 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. The preschool children shares the outdoor playground with the school age children by schedule and there is an approved waiver on file. Shade is provided via sail shade, building, pop up shade and patio cover. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playgrounds. There is a climbing structure on the playground that is properly anchored. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climber provided by rubber cushioning. Drinking water is available via the children's own refillable water bottle during outdoor activities. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children.
