25 | On April 2, 2024 at 10:08 am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Ana Noble and Diana Brasel conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an Increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representative Anna Garcia, New Director. Garcia stated the her new director packet had been mailed to the office. Garcia provided proof of this information to LPA Noble during this visit director Packet had been certified mailed. Applicant is requesting to be licensed for 50 preschoolers 2-5 in classrooms Room 1 &2 (Room one is divided by a removable partition wall into 2 room named Jungle and Train and Room two is named Space Room). Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday 7 am to 5:30 pm. Present during today’s inspection were 26 children with 4 staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Director that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured 2071.99 square footage, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 50 Children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots/mats, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via filter water and children's own water dispensers. |
