32 | Pertaining to allegation that staff did not ensure day-care children's toileting needs were being met, based on interviews conducted staff stated that they clean the children properly after each diaper change and have not witnessed any residue left on a child during a diaper change. It was also disclosed that this concern has not been brought to the office's attention.
Pertaining to allegation that staff is not ensuring that the facility is operating in ratio, based on interviews conducted staff stated that they are never out of ratio and if they need support they call the Infant Center or a teacher will step into the classroom.
Lastly, regarding allegation that staff member spoke inappropriately to day-care child, based on interviews conducted staff stated they have not witnessed any teacher speak inappropriately to children. It was also disclosed that this concern has not been brought up to the office's attention.
Based on the information obtained during this investigation, it has been determined that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with the Licensee, Brooklyn McDole, and a copy was provided. Appeal rights were discussed and provided during the exit interview. A Notice of Site visit was given, and Licensee understands that it must remain posted for 30 days. |
