1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Vicky Williamson conducted a case management inspection for the purpose of addressing the facility's application request to add an additional preschool classroom. The facility's capacity will remain at a capacity of 100 children. Fire clearance was granted on 05/28/20. LPA met with Director, Stephanie Smith and toured the facility. The hours of operation are from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, the facility is closed and there were no children present during time of inspection. Rooms 102, 103, 104,105 & 106 were previously measured. The rooms measured at a total of 3,598.18 square feet which is sufficient for 100 children. Room 102 can accommodate 16 children. Room 103 can accommodate 26 children. Rooms 104 & 105 can accommodate 21 children. Room 106 can accommodate 16 children. LPA measured Room 107 today and it measured a total of 667 square feet which is sufficient for 19 children. The total square footage for all seven classrooms is 4,265.18 square feet which will be sufficient for the current capacity of 100 children. Furniture and age appropriate equipment was observed in Rooms 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, & 107 and are in good condition. Rooms are safe and clean. Children's toilets and hand washing facilities are sanitary. The playground was previously measured at 6,618 which is sufficient to accommodate 88 children. No changes were made for the outdoor play area since the facility was first licensed on 11/01/2016. Drinking water is readily accessible inside and outside the classrooms. All disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children through latches, locks or placed up on high surfaces. Outdoor play area is fenced with adequate material for cushioning. Area has canopies/trees used for shade. There were no bodies of water observed during the time of inspection. Director states there are no weapons at the facility. There is are operational smoke and carbon monoxide detectors at the facility. The playground is fully fenced and includes outdoor equipment for children ages 2-5 years.

The large playground equipment is designed for children ages 5-12 years and is off limits to the preschool children and is properly fenced. Due to the square footage of the outdoor play area being less than the total capacity, the facility has a waiver placed on file to share the playground at scheduled times in the AM and PM. The amount of children that can be on the playground cannot exceed a total capacity of 88 children. The facility is not requesting an increase in capacity. Director is reminded that there should be no more than a capacity of 100 children in the indoor space of the facility. A preschool license including Room 107 for a total capacity of 100 children will be issued effective today (7/22/20).

No deficiencies cited during today's inspection. Director was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058 01/16) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT IS REQUIRED TO BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. LPA observed Director post Notice of Site Visit.
