On April 04, 2023, at 9:19am PM, Licensing Program Analyst’s (LPA’s), Courtnee Peebles arrived unannounced to Next Generation Educational Center (CCC) and met with director, Geralyn Windt to discuss the investigative finding of the allegation listed above. On April 04, 2023, at 9:19am, LPA conducted a tour and census of the CCC. During the investigation, LPA conducted confidential interviews with eleven staff (D, AD, S1, S2,S3,S4,S5,S6,S7,S8,S9,S10).

On March 17, 2023, a complaint was received with multiple allegations stating the CCC Day care children have sustained injuries due to staff neglect. During confidential interiews it was revealed that C2 was injured,however no staff was aware or witnessed C2's injury.Confidential interviews also revealed that a staff member entered the classroom to find C2 crying.

Based on confidential interviews,the preponderance of evidence standard has been met and the allegations that Day care children have sustained injuries due to staff neglect have been made substantiated. A copy of this report and appeal rights were given and explained to Director Geralyn Windt.
