On 7/15/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced case management inspection. On 11/13/2023, a noncompliance conference was held in the San Diego North Child Care Regional Office due to the facility's compliance history. Upon arrival, LPA conducted a tour of the infant classrooms. There were 17 infants and 5 staff present today. Appropriate ratios were observed, and all staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility.

As part of the compliance plan, the Director previously submitted the sign in sheet that shows the staff members that have completed the following videos: Children's Personal Rights in Child Care, Teacher to Child Ratios in Child Care Center, Background Check Requirements for Caregivers and Food Service Requirements for Child Care Center. The document shall be in each staff's file and available for review.

Director Jenni Gonzalez completed six (6) hours of Professional Child Care Development courses and submitted her training certificates on: Staffing Child Care Programs (1 hour), Stages of Social and Emotional Development in Infants (1 hour), Infant and Toddler: Health and Safety (2 hours) and Nutrition (2 hours).

An updated staffing plan (LIC 500) was recently submitted to the department on 02/20/2024. The LIC 500 indicated room assignment, hours and days of work, and staff member position. Center Director Jenni Gonzalez completed the on-line Child Care Center Operations & Record Keeping Orientation on 01/30/2024. Facility is within substantial compliance during today's inspection. Notice of Site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
