13 | On 3/1/2024 at 12:25pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Selina Siao and Martha Avila conducted an unannounced inspection for the complaint received on 01/05/2024 for the purpose of delivering findings on the above reference allegations. LPA Siao conducted the initial inspection at the facility on 01/09/2024. LPAs conducted a tour of the two infant classrooms and appropriate ratios were observed. Throughout the course of investigation, interviews were conducted with several staff members and several daycare parents. Staff members said that they are unsure how the day care child sustain the bruises and that it may be from the bucket seats or infant seat. LPA inspected the infant equipment, and the equipment appears to be in good repairs. Staff members that were interviewed stated that they cannot force a child to nap or eat at the facility therefore the infants might not always have the same schedules. The staff and parents that were interviewed did not collaborate with the above allegations. Based on information obtained, the allegations are determined to be unsubstantiated which means although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred. No citation was issued. Facility was advised to post the Notice of Site Visit and that failure to keep it posted will result in $100 civil penalty. |
