13 | On 07/23/2025 at 9:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adriana Macias conducted an unannounced initial complaint inspection regarding the above allegation. LPA met with Director Jenni Gonzalez, and discussed the reason for the visit. During today’s inspection LPA took census of the facility, interviewed director and reviewed teacher files.
The following ratios were observed:
-Owls, 17 children with 1 qualified teacher and 1 aid without credits.
-Racoons, initially had 10 children with 1 fully qualified teacher, then at 9:26am, Teacher Rita brought in 5 children from the Owls into the Racoons.
-Foxes, 8 children and 1 qualified teacher.
It was alleged that unqualified staff are providing care to children in day care. Based on LPA’s observations during inspection, the Owls classroom had 17 children with 1 fully qualified teacher and 1 aid without any Child Development credits, making the aid unqualified to assist a classroom with more than 15 children.
