25 | On 09/21/2021, at 10:45 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Hood, conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and met with Director, Taylor Finn. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. This program is on a traditional school grounds. The facility operates from Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:05 a.m. & 2:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (school session). The following classrooms are licensed: Stand Hall, Library, Computer Lab, #101, #501, #502, #702, and #704. Due to low enrollment the facility is using classroom #101 and restroom #101A (inside classroom). The facility library is has been under construction since summer 2021. The director was advised to contacted LPA, once construct is complete.
There were no children present at the time of inspection.
There is no bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. No poisons were observed during the inspection.
Facility is exempt from square footage, toilet, isolation space, outdoor activity space, and fencing requirements, per, H&S 1596.806. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. All toilets and handwashing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. All floors in the facility are clean and safe. All food is protected against contamination. Contaminated food is discarded immediately. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around high climbing equipment, swings and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls. The facility is free of flies, insects and rodents. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements. The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. |
