On 06/22/22 at 9:05 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Rajani Goudreau arrived at the facility to conduct a Case Management-Licensee Initiated inspection. Upon arrival LPA, met with Director, Cinthya Baez and Licensee, Christina Bradley and proceeded to tour the facility. The facility is requested a capacity increase of 26 children; ages 2 through Kindergarten in classrooms #1 - Abejas, #2 - Liebelulas, and #3 - Ranas. In addition, facility is requesting to remove the toddler component from the preschool license. Facility operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

During today’s inspection, the indoor space was inspected. The indoor space was previously measured on March 22, 2022 during the pre-licensing inspection. Total indoor space measured 943.81 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 26 children. The outdoor activity space was inspected and previously measured a total of 1,453.04 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 19 children. Based on insufficient outdoor space an outdoor playground waiver will need to be requested.

Fire clearance on file and approved on June 16, 2022 for 26 children in classrooms #1 - Abejas, #2 - Liebelulas, and #3 - Ranas.

No deficiencies issued during today’s inspection. Licensing reports discussed and provided. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today’s date. The toddler component will be removed from preschool licensee effective June 27, 2022. Once the waiver request is submitted, reviewed and approved, a license for 26 children; ages 2 years old through kindergarten in classrooms #1 – Abejas, #2-Liebelulas, and #3-Ranas shall be granted.
