25 | On 11/30/23 at 11:11am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Vicky Williamson arrived at the facility to conduct a case management inspection for the purpose of a change in activity space. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Cinthya Baez and was led on a tour of the facility. At 12:50pm, Licensee, Christina Bradley arrived to the facility. There were 20 children and four (4) staff members present. The facility is to requesting to change the location of the preschool playground to the previous infant playground. Facility has a capacity of 26 children: serving ages 2 years to Kindergarten. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:30pm.
During today’s inspection, the outdoor space was inspected and measured. The outdoor activity space measured a total of 1,183.46 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 15 children. Based on insufficient outdoor space an outdoor playground waiver will need to be requested. Licensee stated that she will submit a waiver to request to share the outdoor space on a scheduled basis.
Fire clearance on file and approved on June 16, 2022 for 26 children in classrooms #1 - Abejas, #2 - Liebelulas, and #3 - Ranas.
The following is required:
· Licensee to submit an updated waiver request and daily schedules to the SDRO
· Plan of operation submitted for transitioning from the classroom to the outdoor space
No deficiencies cited. A change of location for the preschool playground may be granted after the above requirements are met and a final file review. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Christina Bradley. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today’s date. Failure to comply with posting requirements will result in a civil penalty of $100. |
