25 | On 06/22/22 at 7:57 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Rajani Goudreau arrived at the facility to conduct a Case Management-Licensee Initiated inspection. Upon arrival LPA, met with Director, Cinthya Baez and Licensee, Christina Bradley and proceeded to tour the facility. During the inspection there were two infants in care with two staff members present. The facility is requested a capacity increase of 10 infants; serving ages 6 weeks through 2 years old in classrooms #4 - Oruga and #5 - Mariposa. In addition, requesting to add additional outdoor space to accommodate the requested capacity. Facility operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
During today’s inspection, the indoor space for the infants was inspected. The indoor space was previously measured on March 22, 2022 during the pre-licensing inspection and measured a total of 375.60 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 10 children. The outdoor activity space for infants was inspected and measured a total of 544.55 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 7 children. The new outdoor space is connected to the preexisting outdoor space. Based on insufficient outdoor space an outdoor playground waiver is needed.
Fire clearance on file and approved on June 16, 2022 for 10 children in classrooms #4 - Oruga and #5 - Marposa.
No deficiencies issued during today’s inspection. Licensing reports discussed and provided. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today’s date. Once the waiver request is submitted, reviewed and approved, a license for 10 children; ages 6 weeks through 2 years old in classrooms #4 -Oruga and #5-Mariposa shall be granted.
