On 08/25/2026, at approximately 2:35 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Julieta Abrego conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver the finding for the above listed allegation. LPA met with the Center Director, Roxanna Larios, and advised the center director of the purpose of the inspection and conducted a tour of the facility. There were 15 children in care and two (2) staff during the inspection.

It was alleged that staff exposed child to illicit drugs while in care. The investigation was conducted by Community Care Licensing Division Investigations Branch (IB), Investigator, Laarni Santiago. During the course of the investigation, interviews were conducted with the director, staff members, daycare parents, daycare child, and collateral contacts. In addition, records were obtained and reviewed from outside sources.

Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, the information obtained did not corroborate the allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
