25 | On 10/6/23 at 12:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Martha Malane arrived at the facility to conduct a case management inspection for the purpose of a capacity decrease, to remove the toddler option and to change rooms to rooms 1 and 3. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Xavier Deanfrasio and was led on a tour the facility. There were no children present as today is a staff training day. The facility is requesting a capacity decrease to 20 infant children, ages 0-24 months. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
Classrooms 1 and 3 were inspected and measured a total of 933.57 square feet (the crib area was not calculated in the square footage) which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Classrooms were equipped with appropriate furniture, including cribs and cots for napping, tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves and other materials for children. The were two (2) sinks exclusive for the children's use, sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. The changing tables are within arm’s reach of a sink in both classrooms.
The outdoor activity space was inspected and previously measured a total of 1521.35 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity.
Licensee representative submitted an updated LIC200A to reflect a capacity of 20 infant children.
A fire clearance for 24 infants; age 0-24 months in rooms 1 and 3 was granted 9/19/23.
No deficiencies cited.
A capacity decrease for 20 infant children in rooms 1 and 3 and removal of the toddler option is granted effective today’s date.
Exit interview conducted with Director, Xavier Deanfrasio. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's date. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
