13 | On 05/09/2023 at 10:10am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), David Miller conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver the findings to the above allegations. LPA advised the Director; Jacquelyn Aguigui-Fajardo, of the inspections purpose. During the tour of the facility, there were thirteen (13) infants in care, and four (4) staff.
It was alleged that staff did not provide adequate supervision to children in care, feed children in a safe manner or distribute food to children in a sanitary manner, and staff did not wash hands between diaper changes. In addition, it was alleged that staff left a child in a soiled diaper for an extended period of time. Lastly, it was alleged that the facility changing table is in disrepair.
During the course of this investigation, interviews were conducted with the Director, staff members, daycare parents, and records reviewed.
