25 | On 6/6/2025 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA’s), Cindy Meier and Raina Alexanian conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity and an outdoor activity space waiver. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Corina Tellez. The facility is currently licensed to care for a total of 39 children, ages 2 to Kindergarten, in Classrooms A and B. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. There are two classrooms in operation: Room A and B. The following ratios were observed: no children present, director, and four (4) staff members. There were no children present due to parent conferences being conducted.
Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed director, Corina Tellez, staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
Furniture and equipment in the classrooms were observed to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Toilet and hand washing equipment are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors.
The surface of the outdoor activity space and playground equipment is maintained, is in safe condition and is free of hazards. There is sufficient cushioning to absorb falls under and around play equipment. The playground area includes a shaded rest area for children through the use of shade sails, trees, and building awning.
Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector that meets statutory requirements. The last fire/disaster drill was conducted and documented on 5/22/25. The facility provides snacks, and parental representative
