32 | The outdoor play area was inspected and measured a total of 23,048.36 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate 307 children. The outdoor play area is fully fenced and includes outdoor play equipment that is age appropriate. There is no play structure located in the outdoor play area; however, there is age appropriate play materials and equipment for the children’s use. The outdoor play area is shared with the elementary school children. LPA informed director a waiver will have to be submitted due to the shared use of the outdoor play area. LPA observed adequate shade in the outdoor play area by the use of canopies. LPA observed the outdoor activity space surfaces to be free of hazards. There is no evidence of rodent or insect activity, per observation. Proper supervision and placement of staff during outdoor activities was advised to ensure the supervision and the safety of children during outdoor play. There are no bodies of water observed on the premises of the property. In addition, applicant representative confirmed there are no bodies of water on the premises. The children will utilize an outdoor area for meal times that is exclusive for the preschool children located on the left side of the front entrance of preschool classroom, #14. Classroom identification observed on the outside of the classroom door.
LPA reviewed with applicant representative the LIC 311A, Records To Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted.
