32 | On this date, 6/6/23, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.
Facility representative was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org site, a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. LPA provided facility representative with a Summer 2023 Quarterly Update and PIN 22-06-CCP.
Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. Facility representative, Danielle Cavanaugh was reminded that childcare centers constructed before 1/01/2010 are to test their water for lead prior to and then every five (5) years after the date of the first lead testing. LPA discussed (PIN) 20-01-CCP “Required Lead Testing for Drinking Water in Licensed Child Care Centers, PIN 21-21-CCP LIC 9275 – External Water Sampler Self-Certification Form and the LIC 9276 – Center Sampling Checklist Form.
A fire clearance for eight (8) infant children (age 6 weeks – 24 months) in room A and 16 toddler children (18-36 months) in room E was granted 8/2/23.
Exit interview was conducted with facility representative, Danielle Cavanaugh. A license for eight (8) infant children (age 6 weeks – 24 months) in room A and 16 toddler children (18-36 months) in room E may be issued after a final file review. |
