25 | On 12/11/2023 at 10:45am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Samantha Clenista arrived at the facility for the purpose of a pre-licensing follow-up inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with facility representatives, Roseann Rinear and Director, Suzie Wydra. Applicant is requesting a capacity of 80 preschool children (ages 2- Kindergarten) in rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the gymnasium. LPA Martha Malane conducted the initial pre-licensing inspection on 10/24/23. LPA Malane stated that everything looked per regulation with the exception of completing the installation of the fence around the bike path near the entrance of the school and the outdoor activity space next to the office.
LPA Malane previously measured both areas and it measured at a total of 6058.72 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. LPA Clenista inspected both playgrounds after the fencing was installed. Fencing was observed to be per regulation, and was observed to be 4ft. or higher all around. Facility installed a play structure in the playground located next to the office and LPA Clenista observed it to be age appropriate for ages 2-5 years old. Structure had wood chips surrounding all the falling hazard areas. LPA observed sufficient cushioning during inspection to sustain a fall. LPA observed a pop up shade placed for both playgrounds. LPA observed age appropriate toys and materials available for outdoor activities located in a shed in the parking lot. LPA discussed supervision and placement of staff outside to ensure the safety of children at all times.
Facility was observed to be in compliance with Title 22 regulation. A license for 80 preschool children ages 2-Kindergarten is granted on today's date, 12/11/2023. |
