25 | On May 30, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) J. Badger arrived at the above named facility to conduct an unannounced Case management visit.
The LPA, met with the Directors, Heather Saulnier and Carrie Blanding, and the purpose of the visit was explained to the them.
The facility director was on leave and has notified the LPA of their absence.
This center is a dual licensed facility with infants, preschoolers and toddlers.
LPA toured and inspected the outdoor play area with the director to identify potential health and safety hazards and to see the sandbox area.
The outdoor play area is kept clean and free of debris, fully fenced, and in good repair. The play structures appear to be safe and sturdy, with additional padding on the ground below for additional safety and plenty of shaded areas.
On May 23, 2025, the facility director (S1),received an email from a parent (C1), informing them that on 5/22/2025, her child (C2), informed them that another child (C3), in the same class, pulled down their pants and underwear and touched their private area.
C2, stated that the incident took place in the sandbox area on 5/22/2025.Per the director (S1), staff present did not see any inappropriate touching.
(S1) stated that since the incident, a Social Emotional Learning Specialist has been in the classroom everyday, speaking with staff and children.
Per S1, they have spoken with the parents of both children involved, and has scheduled an in person meeting on 6/27/2025.
S1 has also conducted special staff meetings to address preventative measures that can be taken in the future.
This appears to be an isolated incident. In response, the director of the facility took appropriate action.
