25 | On 2/18/2026 at 12:30PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Principal, Danielle Loughridge. The purpose of today's visit was explained and was for an unannounced- annual random inspection. Present was the principal and 6 staff supervising 34 children. The facility’s day and hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 7:30AM- 5:30PM. The program utilizes two of the three classrooms: Classroom #3, Classroom #4, and the shared outdoor play yard. Per principal, classroom #5 is not currently in use. LPA inspected facility, indoors and outdoors, for health and safety hazards.
At 12:45PM., LPA observed the following: the classrooms were neat and orderly, with age-appropriate playthings and materials available for the children. The floors, and accessible surfaces were observed clean. LPA observed labeled cubbies in entry way for storage of belongings.
LPA reminded principal to ensure children's shoes are stored away from the classroom exit.
LPA advised principal to cover sharp cornered furniture inside classroom #4. Advisory Note: Technical Violation (LIC9102TV) was issued.
The children’s furniture was in good repair and properly anchored. The classrooms were equipped with activity areas, including carpet and reading space. The facility also has added cabinets for extra supplies and staff belongings. LPA observed tables and chairs, scaled to the appropriate size. The books, puzzles, and learning supplies inspected were in like-new condition. The trash bins used for disposal of solid waste had been covered. The bathroom were clean and fixtures were in operating condition.
For child nap/ scheduled rest, several mats, made from a cleanable plastic material are available for the children. Per licensee, napping supplies are washed weekly by guardians. The classrooms had adequate ventilation, lighting, and a comfortable temperature. The classrooms had a functioning telephone service; carbon monoxide detector; and fire extinguisher (2A10BC).
