25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an unannounced annual inspection today. LPA met with a licensees, Sandra Siharath, Angela Siharath and a licensee's father (helper), and explained the purpose of the inspection to them. All adults have fingerprint clearance. LPA observed 7 children that included 3 infants with a helper and the licensee during the inspection. Licensees own and live with a licensee's husband/father in this 2 stories single family house that has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, & living room on the upper lever; the lower level has a garage that was converted into a day care area with 2 rooms, & 1 bath. The day care areas are the entire lower level, front and backyard. The off-limit area is the entire upper level. LPA inspected the facility for health and safety hazard. The house was clean and in order. Lighting and temperature were adequate. All toxins and harmful items were either locked and made inaccessible to children. There were plenty of age appropriate toys, books, learning materials, and furniture available for children. Carpet and soft cushioning were installed to the floor to prevent injury. Cubbies were available for children to story their belongings in day care area. There were working telephone, fully charge fire extinguisher 2A10BC, and first aid supplies available in day care area. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were not tested due napping during inspection. Cots, & play pens were available as the napping equipment. The outdoor area was completely fenced. Soft cushioning was installed to the entire ground to prevent injury. There were outdoor toys, play houses, ride-on toys, and gardening areas available for children. The children bathroom was clean and free of hazard. Licensees had current first aid and CPR training that will expire in 5/2025, and Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training (AB1207) that will expire in 7/2024.. Disaster drill was conducted at least 2 times per year. Per licensee, there were no guns, no weapons and no pets in the house. Per licensee, there were no children on special medication. All required postings were posted. LPA reviewed the children's records and 15 minutes nap check log during the inspection, and obtained a copy of the roster during inspection. .
