On March 01, 2024 at approximately 8:30am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ly conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection for the Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of Lead in Child Care Center's water. LPA met with the Site Director, Vasi Thathiah. The purpose of the inspection was explained.

Facility is a combination center that includes a preschool and the toddler component. Present during today's visit are 4 preschool and 7 toddlers with 4 staff members including the Director .

Facility was cited on January 24, 2024 for faucet labeled as A30 has the result of 36ppb. During today's visit, Director showed LPA that the facility has temporary removed the entire sink and faucet. A toy shelf has been placed to block the area where the sink used to be. Pictures have been taken as evidence of sink and faucet temporarily removed. Currently, due to low enrollment, there is no children occupying the room. Per Director the removal of the sink does not impact the capacity facility is licensed for.

Due to facility only temporarily removed the sink and faucet, LPA can not clear citation cited on January 24, 2024. Director has been advised to request for an extension for Plan of Correction. Request needs to be renew promptly by due date with the San Bruno Office until final decision is made in regards to faucet labeled as A30.

A copy of this report was discussed and left with Director whose signature on this form confirm receipt of these reports. Notice of Site Visit was posted. Notice to remain posted for 30 days.
