| On 04/25/2025, at 8:50 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Badger and Leong arrived at the above-named facility to conduct an annual inspection. LPAs were granted entrance and met by Licensee’s Helper (S2), who let the LPAs into the home. LPAs met with the Licensee (S1) and explained that the purpose of the visit was to conduct an annual inspection.
Present in the facility were S1, two helpers, (S2 and S3), 2 infants, and 4 Preschoolers. At the time of LPAs arrival, there was a pest control technician at the facility. The facility was found to be operating within capacity limits on this day. All adults living and working in the home are fingerprint cleared and associated, confirmed through a check on the CDSS Guardian Background Check System.
The hours of the operation are from Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm.
DAY CARE AREAS: Full ground level including 2 nap rooms, a kitchenette, a small bathroom and the backyard area.
OFF-LIMIT AREAS: Entire second floor.
LPA observed the backyard ground to be clean and free of debris. There were plenty of age-appropriate toys that were in good condition.
LPAs inspected day-care areas for health and safety hazards. LPAs observed the home to be clean and in good condition. The air quality was comfortable and cool, the temperature and ventilation are proper. There were a variety of age-appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition..
There are no pools or bodies of water in the premises. All cleaning supplies, poisons, and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children.
Infant children sleep in separate cribs located in 2 different nap rooms. LPAs observed two infants sleeping in two different rooms and both doors were closed. LPAs observed S1 immediately opening the doors to the two rooms. Therefore, the facility will receive a technical violation and a technical assistance.
LPA reviewed the 15 minute Sleep Check Records and found them to be complete. Preschool-age children sleep on age-appropriate mats. Infants sleep in playpens and were free of objects and loose items.
