The licensee and helper have maintained complete records and met all the necessary licensing requirements, including completing required immunizations and mandated reporter training. The Licensee's Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification expired on 11/2023. However, according to the licensee, she had renewed it but lost the certificate. All the required posting documentation, such as the facility license, Notification of Parental Rights, and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist, have been placed in a prominent area for parents or representatives to review. According to the licensee, regular fire and earthquake drills are conducted at least once every six months, with the most recent drills completed on 3/15/2024.
Since the licensee has no children enrolled, no children's records are available for review. However, LPA provided the licensee with a checklist of all required licensing forms and documents for children’s records to the licensee.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
