25 | On Jan 3, 2024., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van met with licensee Sofiya Turkenich for an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. The purpose of the inspection was explained, and the Licensee granted LPA entry to the home. During the visit, the Licensee and her helper supervised eight children (6 preschoolers age, and two infants).
During the annual inspection on December 6, 2023, the Licensee was found to have multiple deficiencies. These included missing immunization records and pediatric first aid CPR for the helper.
During today's inspection, LPA thoroughly reviewed all personnel records, including those of the Licensee and her helper. After the review, it was found that all personnel records were in order. The Licensee's helper had a proper immunization record and had completed pediatric first aid CPR training. All the deficiencies that were cited during the December 6, 2023, inspection have been cleared today.
An exit interview was conducted with the Licensee, and a consultation was provided. In today's inspection, no deficiencies were observed. Licensee Sofiya Turkenich read and signed the report. Today's report and notice of the site were provided to the Licensee. LPA informed the Licensee that a site visit notification must be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
