13 | On April 7, 2023., Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Van and Leong conducted a subsequent complaint inspection and met with the Principal, Paul Lister. During the inspection, LPAs inspected the Center for any health & safety concerns, made classroom observations, and interviewed children. Today, a lead teacher, a paraprofessional, therapist, and a volunteered parent supervised 18 children.
As part of the investigation, LPA interviewed teachers, the Principal/Director, and children attending the Center and reviewed all pertinent documents. Based on the information obtained, there was insufficient evidence to prove that the staff threatened and yelled at the children. The Department has investigated the above allegations. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
An exit inspection was conducted with the Director. A copy of the report and notice of the site visit was provided to the Director. LPA informed the Director that the site visit notice must be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
