13 | On August 28, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Van and Leong conducted a subsequent complaint inspection visit to deliver findings on the above allegations. LPAs met with the Site Director, Denay Morales, and Assistant Director, Alan Miknis. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Two teachers supervised six preschool children.
After conducting a thorough investigation, which included interviews with teachers and children and a review of all relevant documents, it was determined that there was not enough evidence to confirm that the staff had yelled at or handled children roughly. The Department has investigated the above allegations. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
An exit inspection was conducted with the Director.
A copy of the report and notice of the site visit was provided to the Director. LPA informed the Director that the site visit notice must be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
