There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. All cleaning supplies, poisons, and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children.
Preschool-age children sleep on age-appropriate mats.
There was a fully charged fire extinguisher, a combo smoke/carbon monoxide detector were found to be in working condition. There is a working telephone on site.
The phone numbers listed for the Licensee are current. Per the Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home.
LPAs reviewed five children's records and found the records were complete. The licensee and the staff member both have valid CPR/First Aid Certificates.
LPAs reviewed two staff files and found that both TB tests were missing from their records. The Mandated Reporter Training certificates for both the licensee and the staff member were not current.
A Technical Violation was issued for the missing TB tests.
A Technical Violation was issued for expired Mandated Reporter Certificates.
According to the Licensee, the last Emergency drill was conducted on 01/22/2025.
Per Licensees, there are no children enrolled with allergies.

When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to www.ada.gov/childqanda.htm.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption or transfer their existing clearance or exemption prior to the initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this Regulation is violated.
