On September 29, 2022 at approximately 12:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensee, Magda Mohamed, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during inspection included licensee and 2 enrolled infants. Licensee is operating within capacity limits and ratio during LPA's visit. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

Licensee lives in the home with their spouse and adult child. All adults living in the home have a criminal record clearance on file. The home is a multi-level, single family home that includes, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room/dining area and detached garage. The DAY CARE AREAS are the living room/dining area, bathroom #1 (located on entry level of home), and bedroom #1 for napping purposes only (located on lower level of the home). The OFF LIMITS AREAS are the kitchen, balcony, detached garage and all bedrooms located on lower level of the home. All off limit areas are properly barricaded with child safety locked handles and/or child safety gates.

With licensee, LPA inspected day care areas for health and safety hazards. LPA observed home to be in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. LPA observed all cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals to be stored inaccessible to children behind child safety locked drawers and/or cabinets.

Home has a dual carbon monoxide, smoke detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, fully stocked first aid kit and a working phone on site. Phone number listed for licensee is current. Per licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA observed required licensing documents to be properly posted, available for review.
