25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with the Site Director, Amelia Zheng, and Program Director, Nakita Chow, and explained the purpose of the inspection to them. There were 10 children with 3 staff present. All adults fingerprinted were associated with #384001117 or this facility. The facility was a combination center with Preschool program and Infant Program with Toddler Option. There were 2 sections (infant and toddler) under infant program. There were 2 separate classrooms and playgrounds for Infant andToddler. Those classrooms were separated by the divider, so no physical contact between Toddlers and Infants. The preschool program had a separate classroom that was located behind the main office. The preschool classroom had an adjacent outdoor play area that was completely fenced. The facility's operation hours were Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. LPA inspected the facility for health and safety hazards. The facility was clean and in order. The temperature and lighting were adequate. The facility's main entrance was locked. The facility installed a doorbell with camera for the parents and visitors to gain access. All toxins and harmful objects were either locked or made inaccessible to children. There was a gate at the entrance of the classroom. There were some cubbies with child's names available for children to store their personal belongings by the entrance. Cots with child's names available for napping. Sheets and blankets were washed at the facility every week. All electrical outlets were covered. All lower cabinets were latched or locked. There was an adjacent bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 sinks available for children. There was a separate sink in the classroom available for children as well. There was a separated staff bathroom available for staffs in the building. There were plenty of age-appropriate toys, books, learning material, water and sand tables, and children's furniture available for children indoor. All sharp corners were either covered or shaped to rounded. Drinking Water was served in the pitcher with cups. All Toxins and harmful objects were either locked or kept inaccessible to children in the classroom. Medication was kept in each classroom with the child's name on it. The facility has provided breakfast, Lunch, and snacks that were delivered from the main kitchen. The food preparation area was located next to the infant classroom. It was clean and safe. The food waste bin had a tight-fitting cover. The weekly lunch menu was posted in each classroom. The food in the refrigerator was checked. First aid supplies were available for children at the center. Sick children will be separated from the group and place in the office while waiting for their parents to pick up. There was an adjacent outdoor play area for preschool. It was completely fenced. All play structures at the play area had rubberized cushioning underneath to prevent injury. Plenty of age-appropriate outdoor toys such as a sandbox, water table, ride-on toys, and other toys were available for children as well. All required postings were posted. Fire and Earthquake drills have done monthly and logged. The latest drill was conducted in 1/18/2023. Sign in/out sheet were reviewed during the inspection. The facility had at least one staff has current CPR and First Aid training at the facility, it will expire in 9/2023. Children's and Staff records were reviewed during the inspection. LPA obtained a copy of the children roster and personnel record from licensee during the inspection as well. All staff has completed the required Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training (AB 1207). The certificates were reviewed during the inspection. There were no children on special medication in the preschool program.
