LPA observed the outdoor play area to be free of debris and other loose articles. The outdoor play area is enclosed by a fence that is at least four feet high. There are age-appropriate toys and equipment available for children to use. There is a sandbox present that is checked daily. There are age-appropriate play structures present that are cushioned with resilient padding. Shade is available from the main building of the facility or the neighboring building. Water is brought outside when children are present so that they have access to drinking water.
LPA reviewed six staff files, 10 children’s files, and facility records. All staff files reviewed have current Pediatric First Aid/CPR and Mandated Reporter training certificates. Staff qualifications and immunization records are available for review. LPA observed all children’s files to be complete.
