25 | On September 13, 2024 at approximately 2:45pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ly conducted an Unannounced Annual Visit to this family child care home and met with Licensee Diana Kozhina. Purpose of visit was explained. Present during the visit were Licensee and two assistants caring for 1 infant age child and 10 preschool age children. All required posting documents are posted and visible. Facility's Operating days and hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm.
Day Care Areas are the ground floor consists of the large play room, small play room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and the front half of the back yard. Off-limit Areas are the garage on the ground floor, the entire second floor level and the back half of the backyard. Licensee’s Pediatric CPR/First Aid valid until 05/2026. Licensee and Assistants have Completed Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training and proof of completed training certificates are on files. Required Immunization records for Licensee and Assistants such as Influenzas, Pertussis and Measles are on file.
LPA observed the home is clean orderly and properly ventilated. LPA also observed a 2A10BC Fire extinguisher, operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide. There are no Fireplace or bodies of water in the home. Electrical outlets have child protective covers in place making them inaccessible to children. Chemical, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items of this nature are made inaccessible to children. Kitchen/Bathroom cabinets/drawers have child protective locks in place making all sharp objects or toxic house hold items inaccessible to children. First aid supplies are available for children. Per Licensee, facility does not medication on site. Facility conducts fire drills/earthquake drills on 07/22/2024 and was properly logged. Home has age appropriate toys and equipment available for the children in care.
During today's visit, LPA reviewed children's files. Children's files have emergency contact information, required licensing forms and immunization record. LPA also reviewed Licensee and Assistants' files. All files are up to date.
