32 | During the inspection, LPA informed/discussed with the Licensee the following:
· All 18 yrs and older adults living in the home or working at the house must have fingerprint clearance before contacting the children
· LPA reviewed the Large license capacity requirements with the Licensee.
· Licensee was informed that Licensee and all helpers must have valid Pediatric FirstAid CPR for a large license.
· Mandated Reporter Training. Training must be completed every two years, and training can be taken online at www.mandatedreporterca.com
· Safe-Sleep; Individual Infant Sleeping Plan; and required documentation of the infant sleep check.
· Infant walkers, exersaucers, jumpers, baby bouncers, and similar items are prohibited in the daycare.
· Records to be maintained in the facility were explained—mandatory Posting requirements: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, and Notification of Parents' Rights Poster.
· Reporting Requirements.
Large family child care home capacity increase will be approved upon Fire Department clearance, STD 850, and a complete plan of correction for the deficiencies cited today.
See LIC 809D for deficiencies cited today. Today's report, deficiencies, appeal rights, and site visit notice were printed and provided to the Licensee. LPA informed the Licensee to provide a copy of this licensing report dated May 30, 2023 that documents any Type A citation to parents/guardian of all children enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. In addition, LPA also informed the Licensee that a site visit notification must be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
